Nick founded Ironbark following on from 8 years working within FLM, an existing St. James's Place Practice. Prior to this, Nick worked at Christie’s Auctioneers where he looked after high net worth private clients for 7 years. Before moving to the UK he worked for a boutique stockbroking firm in Sydney.
Nick is personable, approachable, and knowledgeable. Through taking a genuine interest in clients' circumstances and ensuring that discussions remain jargon-free, Nick ensures that conversations around personal finances are enjoyable and interesting rather than daunting.
Nick moved back into financial services in the UK as his commitment to personal attention is a natural fit for the private wealth industry, to which he brings his own brand of service developed across a number of the world’s most successful private client businesses. He continues to hone his craft and has reached the respected qualification of Chartered Financial Planner. This is the industry’s gold standard of adviser and reflects working through rigorous criteria to attain the level alongside committing to future development and a strong code of ethics.
When out of the office, Nick’s attentions are focussed on his wife and three young sons, often up in Scotland from where his wife hails. Nick takes occasional trips back to his native Australia to visit his family there and catch some cricket at the SCG. He is also a keen classic car enthusiast and may be found each year at the London Concours and the Goodwood Revival.
